A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

It is our great honor to welcome you to Dallas Baptist University. DBU is a nationally ranked, comprehensive, Christ-centered, global university, with a mission to produce servant leaders through the integration of faith and learning. We are thrilled to be an educational enterprise home to more than 4,400 students, representing 59 countries around the world. Here, you will discover a community of servant leaders whose heart is to teach and care for others while also producing research in a myriad of academic disciplines. We embrace the premise that all truth is God’s truth, and together, we seek knowledge for the sake of making a bold impact in the world as transformers of culture. We believe our world is in desperate need of thoughtful Christian leaders with the ability to creatively solve complex problems while uniquely engaging culture through biblical truth. Our graduates are serving in nearly every vocational context. Whether it be as Christian doctors, lawyers, educators, scientists, businessmen, politicians, or numerous other professions, we understand that our students are diverse in their callings, yet united in purpose. Together, we seek to serve and transform the world for the glory of God!
